Women and Youth Agenda-South Sudan

Women and Youth Agenda-South Sudan is a non-governmental organisation that is led by women. Supporting women and youth participation at all levels in South Sudan is a key aspect of our work. The priority is to empower girls and women. Women and youth play not just an important role, but a critical one, in maintaining peace and security. It is important to ensure that their perspectives are both listened to and valued. Having women and youth actively participating in civic and political spaces is of utmost importance. Addressing gender-based violence (GBV) is of utmost importance for ensuring the safety of women and girls in South Sudan. This work is not only significant for the present, but also for the future of the country
